Welcome to MenoBuddy! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MenoBuddy mobile application (the “App”) operated by MenoBuddy Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains and lists the transparency information regarding what personal data is collected when you use our mobile applications, websites and the services provided through them (together “App” or “Service”), how such personal data will be processed.
By using the service, you promise us that (i) you have read, understand and agree to this privacy policy and the data processing described, and (ii) you are over 18 years of age. If you do not agree, or are unable to make this promise, you must not use the Service. In such case, you must (a) delete your account and contact us and request deletion of your data; (b) cancel any subscriptions using the functionality provided by Apple (if you are using iOS) or Google (if you are using Android), any other app stores that may be available from time to time, or by us if you purchased it directly from our websites; and (c) delete the App from your devices.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the App, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the App.
2. Use of the App
a. The App is designed to provide information and resources to help women balance their hormones naturally during menopause. This content is for informational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. Always consult with a healthcare provider before making any changes to your diet, exercise, or lifestyle.
b. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the App:
- In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
- For the purpose of exploiting, harming, or attempting to exploit or harm minors in any way.
- To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent.
- To impersonate or attempt to impersonate MenoBuddy, a MenoBuddy employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
3. Account Registration
a. To access certain features of the App, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as needed.
Personal data we collect from you
We collect personal data about you when you interact with the Services. This can be directly from you or from other sources and third parties.
Personal data you provide to us directly:
General information: When you sign up to use the Services, we may collect personal data such as your name, email address, year and month of birth, password, place of residence and location information including time zone and language. We may be able to infer your sex and/or gender by your use of the Services.
You may also choose to input information such as your first name or the name you would like us to call you. This is led by you and it will not affect your use of the Services should you choose not to enter this information.
Well-being: When you use the Services, you can choose to input personal data about yourself, such as your age, other symptoms and stages that are related to your menstrual cycle; perimenopause and menopause symptoms; general well-being and health; symptoms, which may include information relating to your sex life; or other information, like your physical and mental well-being, water intake and sleep duration.
4. How we use your personal data
Depending on which features of the Services you use, we will process your personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases (we have included some examples):
- Your consent: you can give us permission to process your health data to provide the Services.
- To fulfill our contractual obligations to you in order to provide the Services to you: we may process your personal data to fulfill our contractual obligation to you for activities such as management of your MenoBuddy account and other administrative purposes.
- Legitimate interest: we may process your personal data based on our legitimate interests in order to manage our Services better. For example, we may use your personal data in order to:
- identify and fix bugs;
- determine genuine user interaction with the Services (rather than bots);
- monitor the App and analyze its performance and reliability;
- inform you of matters concerning your subscriptions;
- conduct vulnerability scanning to protect the security of the Services; and
- review aggregated App usage trends.
Further examples of our legitimate interests are outlined in the table below. When relying on this legal basis, we first determine that we have a legitimate interest in conducting and managing our business. We then consider and balance potential impacts to you and your rights, to ensure that our interests do not override them.
- Legal obligation: We may be obligated to process some of your personal data to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Subscription terms
1. Subscription
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (each week, month, 6 months, year, or otherwise, depending on the option selected by you at the time of purchase) until you cancel.
3. Payment method
Payment will be charged to the payment method you submitted at the time of purchase at confirmation of purchase (after you confirm by single-touch identification, facial recognition, or entering your payment method details on the web, or otherwise accepting subscription terms provided on the payment screen or on the pop-up screen provided by Apple/Google or on our web page) or after the end of the trial period. You authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fees to the payment method that you use.
4. Cancelation
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Note that deleting the app does not cancel your subscriptions.
If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on the App Store:
You may cancel a free trial or a subscription anytime by turning off auto-renewal through your Apple ID account settings. To avoid being charged, cancel the subscription in your Apple ID account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial or the current subscription period. If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on our websites:
To avoid being charged cancel your subscription before the end of the then-current period. You may cancel your subscription purchased in your profile. Below you may find several how to initiate cancelation:
- If you have an iOS device:
Open the MenoBuddy app, go to your profile and select Support. Please submit a ticket mentioning know that you would like to cancel the subscription. Your subscription will be canceled.
Canceling your subscription means that the automatic renewal will be disabled, but you will still have access to all your subscription features for the remaining time of your then-current period.
5. Refunds
If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on App Store:
If you are eligible for a refund, you’ll have to request it directly from Apple. To request a refund, follow these instructions from the Apple support page.
6. Changes
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, we may change subscription fees at any time. We will give you reasonable notice of any such pricing changes by posting the new prices on or through the app and/or by sending you an email notification, or in other prominent ways. If you do not wish to pay the new fees, you can cancel the applicable subscription prior to the change going into effect.
